4 Things you need to know to Make Your Septic Service or Disposal Bin Rental in Peterborough or the Kawartha’s Go Smoothly
At Kawartha Disposal our goal is to provide our customers with the best possible service at competitive and fair rates. Listed below are 4 tips to help make sure you have an easy, efficient and stress-free experience.
Tip 1:
Driveway damage from a bin is uncommon but it can happen and is preventable. While the variability in driveway surfaces makes it difficult to anticipate all situations, our drivers are equipped with boards that can be placed under your bin. In most cases, this is more than enough protection. We are, however, happy to work with customers who wish to provide their own protective covering if they have additional or unique concerns. We are not responsible for any kind of damage when all these precautions have been taken.
Tip 2:
Please provide an established gravel or paved surface along with clear, unobstructed access to your septic tank or bin drop-off area. Keeping this area free of overhead hazards such as power lines or low-hanging branches and underground risks like septic beds or wells will minimize any issues during service.
Tip 3:
Overweight and over-filled bins are the responsibility of the customer or contractor. Please don‘t overload your bins–debris cannot be higher than the sides of the bin. If you are loading very heavy material like cement, bricks or dirt, please review the filling guidelines carefully since you may have additional restrictions. Unsuccessful pickups will be charged an additional fee.
Tip 4:
Be prepared to cover or tarp your bins in the event of heavy snow or rain. Accumulated water or snow in your bin adds unwanted weight, reduces the space available for debris and will need to be drained prior to transport.
Every effort is made to protect your property and work with you to find a solution to your Septic and Disposal challenges. Please feel free to call us at 705-768-4783 with any questions.
